Hi just wanted to see what you all thought. I was looking into getting an air purifier for when I get my next mice. Not sure if it will help with respiratory illness though. The main point would be to help with dust residue from my gerbils as they are on a dusty bedding. the mice might be higher than the gerbils but they might also be in the lower cage I haven't decided yet.

I use 2 electronic air purifiers with good quality filters in my rescue. Both are in the mouse room. I run one all day and the other all night. Not sure if they help with odor because nothing beats spot cleaning and wheel cleaning (where most of the odor seems to be) But, I do think they cut down on dust and pet dander a lot! Since using them the dust in that room is very minimal so I'll continue using them. Hope that helps!

Yep that helps! I was just a bit worried as the gerbils kick up lots of dust and I need something to help with that so I'm going to move my old one next to the cages.

I have an air purifier due to my own hay allergy and it really helps with dust in the air. The air feels much fresher and cleaner after it's been running for a few hours. I wouldn't think it would help much with dust in the mice's own environment (i.e from their bedding) but would probably help with dust from the gerbils.
