I often find only a pair or one mouse when I'm searching to adopt.
I've heard it's best to get three mice so that if one unexpectedly past you wouldn't have to worry about finding another quickly.
That being said, if I can't already find the trios to adopt, should I go about adopting a pair and then a single mouse and introducing them? Or just go with the pair?
I often don't get mice in my area, except for pet shops which I would rather not buy mice from, so I do think three is best as I wouldn't have to stress about finding another mouse right away considering the fact they are almost never in my area. So in this situation what do you guys recommend would be best?
Thanks!

I would recommend a trio because this can also help with possible bullying. If you can find a breeder in the area this will help with easing the introduction if you can get a young mouse. Honestly a trio is probably the best especially for beginners so if you can just go with that.
